JOB SUMMARY:
Leads a team of analysts in ensuring the efficient operation of all Physical Security systems. Supports the management team by coordinating work assignments and ensures that the work is completed on time and accurately. Responsible for managing larger scale technical projects. Provides guidance to the team and provides expert level support for resolving most complex system / project issues. Responsible for weekly status reporting on all projects and incidents. Conducts training for new analyst and acts as a team mentor.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the team by planning and delegating work assignments. Communicates expectations to ensure all tasks and projects are completed as expected. Monitors the daily operations to include incident monitoring and escalation / update of incidents to ensure maximum uptime for Physical Security systems.
- Creates and maintains weekly system statistical reports and dashboards for all incidents and projects. Reviews / Performs monthly system audits, weekly scheduled systems check reports and communicates to Management any issues. Assigns tasks as needed and follows up to ensure issues are corrected.
- Responsible for the administration of the training program, to include maintain training documentation, identifying new training requirements, tracking all training records for team members. Trains and coaches new team members.
- Communicates performance, behavior standards and expectations; provides guidance and feedback for recognition / performance improvements utilizing Lead Observation Reports.
- Maintains and assists in the creation of departmental policies, procedures, and system documentation. Acts as expert level support for more complex system issues. Responsible for managing larger scale and special projects as needed.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:
This role is best suited for an individual who can lead a technically inclined team. Requires strong analytic and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and handle large volume of work. Project work requires individuals to work non-traditional business hours, weekends, and holidays to ensure flawless execution.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED required.
- Technical degree (completed or in progress) in information technology field of study preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of relevant experience. Experience in IT, Networking and / or Project Management is preferred.
- 1+ years as Analyst is required. Experience in the physical security industry is preferred.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- CompTia IFT+ certification and/or CompTia Project+ are preferred.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License Required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written.
- Must be able to work independently and identify / resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks.
- Ability to organize and direct workflow as needed during the day.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and effectively present information for one-on-one and small group situations.
