JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as the primary point of contact for candidate onboarding. Provides critical support for candidates, hiring managers and internal stakeholders to provide a seamless Team Member Experience.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides orientation rescheduling support. Communicates with candidates requesting rescheduling and ensures rescheduling dates align with hiring expectation and class prerequisites.
- Provide support and answer questions, received through a variety of channels, from candidates regarding the Onboarding portal. Support includes, but not limited to receiving phone calls, communication emails, logging in, navigating, completing/printing documents, and orientation schedules.
- Generate a variety of reports to ensure candidates move through the onboarding portal timely. Distribute reports/information to ensure internal partners (e.g., ID Processing, Talent Development) are aware of pending new/rehires.
- Provide support and answer questions from supporting departments regarding the status of a candidates onboarding journey.
- Support the completion of I-9 verification and E-Verify as applicable. Must maintain current knowledge/understanding of USCIS/DHS requirements to ensure I-9 completion follows regulations.
- Provides input/recommendations for improvement in the onboarding journey.
- Ensures compliance and maintains confidentiality throughout the onboarding journey.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ year clerical, record analyst, documentation management, customer service, or computer experience preferred;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Strong communication skills; at all levels of the organization.
- Solid organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Independent, self-starter, requiring minimal day to day task supervision.
- Professional presence and demeanor.
- Computer proficiency.
