JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for driving Career Network initiatives to source, identify, and promote internal talent proactively. Serve as the primary internal resource for client team needs and engage with leadership to forecast and plan for future needs. Gains commitment to short-term assignment opportunities and establishes a process to identify those opportunities. Works with HR Business Partners, Leaders, and Executives to build partnerships and leverage those relationships to identify top talent and strengthen the internal pipeline.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and manage the internal talent pipeline. Manage the process for identifying and internally recruiting short-term assignments to prepare talent for future needs.
- Performs Career Discussions with internal Team Members to provide career guidance, resume, or interview support.
- Coordinate with Leadership across disciplines to scout and recommend strong internal talent. Create networking opportunities for identified talent to meet key players, job shadow, and increase visibility with leadership.
- Develop and execute internal recruiting events targeting high-potential internal talent. Create and increase marketing of internal opportunities to Team Members and to the identified talent pipeline when applicable.
- Responding to inquiries and maintaining ongoing communication with Team Members via phone, email, and daily HR lobby walk-ins.
- Routing incoming phone calls, voicemails, and emails appropriately.
- Performs UOCN Career Coaching Form review in PageUp and schedules career discussion appointments accordingly.
- Schedules internal interviews for Career Connector Program candidates.
- Provide consistent follow-up with all Team Members and HR Partners.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, health, & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s in Psychology, Human Resources, Communications, Counseling or related field preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of experience required working with career counseling OR Non-Exempt or Exempt-level recruiting in a high-volume work environment, across multiple disciplines and skillsets.
- 3-5 years of experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
