JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing the overall daily operation for assigned area within the Wardrobe Services, Laundry Services and Mail Services departments to deliver an excellent guest service experience while ensuring quality controls and guest inquiries.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the scheduling and placement of personnel and adjusting schedules as needed. Participates in budget preparation and monitoring to meet plan. Monitors the production and ensures that the Team Members have the tools to be successful.
- Oversees the daily operation of Wardrobe Services, Laundry Services and Mail Services, including counter and guest service, training, staffing and budgeting. Partners with vendors and suppliers when needed.
- Responsible for the development of the Leads, including: training, coaching and mentoring. Ensures that Leads are driving TSAT and GSAT initiatives to increase guest and Team Member satisfaction.
- Coaches and motivates wardrobe Team Members to promote safe and efficient wardrobe operations while also exceeding guest expectations of courtesy and cleanliness.
- Provides work direction, counseling, coaching and performance reviews to hourly Team Members. Performs proper and timely administration of daily payroll.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED: required.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ year of dry cleaning, laundry management or operational supervision required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs.
- Must be proficient with Windows based computer programs.
