JOB SUMMARY:
Plans and executes data analysis, research and systems/process implementation and administration for the UO/UPR OD and HRD team. Interfaces with clients to deliver/gather and interpret data and provide process/system guidance. Supports major survey and process administration (e.g., TSAT/360, etc.), along with other HR/OD processes requiring presentations of confidential/sensitive data/information and/or analysis of data within online systems/programs (e.g., succession planning, performance management, ad hoc surveys and assessments, focus groups, etc.)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes administration of major surveys/audits/assessment processes (e.g., Team Members Satisfaction – TSAT-Surveys and 360/Development Feedback Surveys) to identify individual and organizational improvement opportunities that will achieve UO/UPR/client-specific goals and objectives. Researches and analyzes team and organization needs and trends through collection, analysis and interpretation of data and comments. Interfaces with clients to deliver/gather/present data and provide process guidance.
- Executes administration of customized assessment and data gathering tools (e.g., HRP workbooks/system, online survey tools, selection tools) to measure the effectiveness of UO/UPR Team Members and teams. Manages systems/approaches involving performance, development and talent management Team Member data to gather, interpret and report trends and analysis to answer critical business and employee research/talent questions. Interfaces with clients to deliver/gather/present data and provide process guidance.
- Acts as the expert analyst of data from various HR related systems (primarily HRP and Performance/Talent Management), including those homed at Universal Orlando and those homed at NBC Universal HR functions or with 3rd party vendors. Interfaces with clients to deliver/gather/present data prepared from system and provide process/system guidance.
- Updates, configures and validates organizational charts. Consolidates and reconfigures based on proposed and actual structures and alignment with other systems (TSAT, Performance/Talent Management). Distributes organization charts electronically.
- Plans, manages and completes projects assigned to HRD based on requests from senior level executives through the Vice President, Human Resources Development. The projects are typically requested by senior level management within the company. The projects require detailed analysis of data, translation of data into visual representations (org charts, graphs, tables, etc.) and translation of rough drafts into presentable material. These projects require the utmost confidentiality and sensitivity and may require immediate completion.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:
- Planning and managing various Human Resources Development (HRD) analyses projects and OD systems/processes, analyzing data, and interfacing with all levels of clients from all divisions within UO/UPR.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, I/O Psychology, Educational Psychology, Organization Development, Org Communications, Org Leadership, Performance Technology, Instructional Systems Design, Human Resources Development, Market Research, Human Resource Management or Business Management with an emphasis in HR is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years Human Resources experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience in an analytical role.
