JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the overall review of document compliance, standardization, alignment, and content integrity of processes and procedures in accordance with Universal Destinations & Experiences documentation standards. This includes evaluating, writing, managing workflows and publishing divisional change requests and training documentation programs. Collaborates with departments across the resort to ensure the highest level of content integrity is achieved, driving operational efficiencies, safety, and Guest Service. Reviews incident reports to ensure accuracy and completeness. Confidentially conducts requested research based on incident reports and requests from senior leadership, Legal and Risk Management. Properly and securely archives associated footage for later use. May also identify, recommend, and submit procedural changes as a result of the completed incident surveillance research.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the process of SOP, GOP, and Training Material updates submitted via UCentral. Evaluates change requests from resort management, offering guidance to streamline and enhance request efficiency. Creates, writes, proofreads, and edits change requests and documents for clarity and accuracy. Ensures Universal Destinations & Experiences mandated annual reviews are complete. Supports management analysis through historical change request, archive, written, and video research.
  • Reviews daily Operations Incident Reports, verifying they are accurately completed with the needed information to retrieve, save, and archive video footage. Ensures archival of all surveillance, ride photos, ride videos and witness statements is completed for use by senior leadership, Legal and Risk Management.
  • Trains and educates Team Leaders and management teams on writing standards and uCentral system use.
  • Facilitates weekly change request meetings, generates & distributes weekly reporting regarding progress and/or completion of change requests.
  • Prints and delivers physical training materials and updated surveillance view standards to the venues to ensure accuracy of physical documents.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in English.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of experience in a position requiring work with technical oriented procedure writing and/or training materials;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Video surveillance experience a plus.
  • Experience in the theme park industry preferred.
