JOB SUMMARY:

The Specialist plays a hybrid role supporting the creative asset management lifecycle while contributing hands-on video editorial support across multiple Universal Creative attraction projects. This position ensures that creative assets and media content are well-organized, accessible, and aligned with the project's vision and technical standards. The role collaborates across disciplines—supporting archiving strategies, vendor communication, asset tracking, and video post-production.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the management of Creative Assets in tracking and managing the lifecycle of creative content from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with brand, legal, and production standards.
  • Maintain detailed archives of design, editorial, and media assets using studio-standard asset management platforms and workflows.
  • Partner with internal departments and external vendors to ensure proper file delivery, version control, and metadata tagging.
  • Play a critical role in developing and implementing scalable archival solutions for creative materials and digital assets across projects.
  • Assist in video post-production workflows, including basic editorial tasks, versioning, transcoding, project & asset prep, and proxy management using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
  • Support internal media pipelines and assist with tracking editorial progress, ensuring accurate delivery schedules and asset compatibility with show systems.
  • Interface with AV Engineering and technical teams to track media change requirements and on-site updates.
  • Provide presentation materials, creative briefs, and visual documentation.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

  • Experience in creative asset management and post-production workflows within themed entertainment, media, or related industries.
  • Working knowledge of asset management software (e.g., iconik, ShotGrid, Frame.io) and enterprise archiving systems.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), DaVinci Resolve, and relevant video/audio tools.
  • Familiarity with creative workflows spanning editorial, scenic design, AV, graphics, and marketing collateral.
  • Exceptional organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Experience with large-scale media projects including 3D/4D experiences, large-format projection, and multi-screen installations.
  • Knowledge of NLE integrations and direct-to-storage workflows.
  • Comfort navigating between creative and technical teams in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in film and Video Production is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 

2+ years’ experience in post-production of multiple media formats including but not limited to all standard film and video formats, in addition to large-screen projection, multiple projection, High-Definition, 3-D; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
