Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Supports the Talent Acquisition Strategy & Experience team to effectively ideate, develop, execute and deliver a wide range of TA projects. Maintains and supports innovation of HR tools, processes, communications, and systems to optimize knowledge and resources available to Team Members and candidates. Builds and leverages partnerships with HR functional teams and key stakeholders both locally and globally, to promote symphony and maximize effectiveness of HR functional teams.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops compelling creative, graphic design, visual communication and typography layouts for recruitment campaigns and other TA projects. Participates in the decision making of advertising initiatives by providing counsel and expertise to ensure we stay aligned within UDX Brand Standards. Collaborates with our external advertising agency for the creation of designs/layouts and recruitment flyers that will appear in a wide array of communication mediums including print, electronic media, & collateral. Available for ad hoc consultation and creation of UDX branded material in support of various HR initiatives.
  • Drives and supports collaborative TA initiatives by partnering with HR functional teams and project stakeholders to facilitate meetings, create resources, monitor timelines, and track progress on milestones. Identifies opportunities for effective alignment and focus of action.
  • Develops content in support of TA Initiatives; synthesizes information into communications and tools that maximize the Team Member and candidate experience. Ensures branding, voice, objectives, and values of company are consistent throughout.
  • Gathers and utilizes data and information from various internal and industry sources to continuously recommend and deliver innovative enhancements to HR tools, processes and communications.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or General Business/Project Management field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ year in Human Resources, Project Management support, Communication/Training or Business/Professional function is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Critical/Analytical thinking. Comfortable navigating within technical systems and following complex processes.
  • Solid judgment and decision making
  • Demonstrates confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong verbal and written communication at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organization and planning
  • Independent and self-driven. Strong sense of ownership. Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations to senior department leadership.
  • Able to take work direction and provide regular follow-up.
  • Strong partnering, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Stays abreast of UDX brand standards and LP standards.
  • Proficiency utilizing Adobe Photoshop
  • Understanding of latest web technologies and services; basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred.
