JOB SUMMARY:
Supports division leadership by acting as a liaison between Security Operations and Universal Creative project teams. Assists project teams with oversight of construction, build out and operational transition of all new Security Technologies to ensure that operational requirements are incorporated. Manages the Security Technology operational program to ensure aspects of the program are properly accounted for, allowing for a smooth transition to daily park operation.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In collaboration with the departmental leadership support Universal Creative, by providing operational input and review for new construction of lands, foods, retail, operational areas, and back of house areas to ensure design meets Universal’s Security operational standards for all Security Technology functions.
- Oversee the implementation of the park-wide camera surveillance and door access control program accordance with UO Security specifications. Work closely with Project Team and Parks Technology during implementation to ensure proper installation, configuration and testing of all security technology.
- Engaged in field construction to ensure proper reactions and design changes occur to Security Technology as a result of construction obstacles.
- Ensure all system documentation is created and maintained. Develop training guides of all security technologies. Manage training of staff on all new Security Technology.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Associate’s degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of combined Security Technology experience;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
