JOB SUMMARY:

Position responsible for assisting with the creative direction/vision of specific show/assignments, during pre-production, rehearsal, ongoing maintenance, daily operation and post.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting with the creative direction/vision of a specific show/assignment including but not limited to the organizing of scripts books, charts, blocking books, scores etc.
  • Working as directed on auditions, stilt workshops, performance workshops, rehearsals, brush ups and sign offs. Maintaining the production creative archive, show notes and casting records. Conducting research as directed.
  • Implementing any/all show revisions (staging/re-blocking / choreography) as directed by the Show Director. Maintaining show quality and motivating cast to peak performance by monitoring performance (both live and/or recorded shows) and regularly providing feedback to cast and Management on show and individual performance including but not limited to choreography, moves, technique, blocking, energy, location, guest interaction and timing (no vocal notes). Documenting and tracking delivered notes.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE:

Casting records, blocking books, creative research, rehearsals, brush ups, re-blocking, show notes, administrative, safety, guest service, data collection, work shops.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 Years: Experience within professional theme park and theater industry is preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • 20 hours of on-the-job training
