JOB SUMMARY: Intern will support strategic partnerships and communications initiatives for all Universal Destinations & Experiences New Ventures. By conducting competitive research, intern will monitor key markets and update leadership on significant developments through reports and presentations. This role will provide opportunities for collaboration amongst various teams and will support the successful launch and sustainment of Market & Sales initiatives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts competitive research relevant to the diverse New Ventures portfolio.
- Monitors key target markets and pro-actively generates or maintains reports on competitive activities.
- Updates leadership on new developments or updates within key target markets.
- Prepares compelling and visually appealing presentations in PowerPoint, compiling input from various teams.
- Supports administrative tasks, inputs requests into Workfront, and documents processes.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or similar.
- Preferred coursework completed: Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Competitive Research, or similar.
Please note the following:
- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
