JOB SUMMARY: Intern will learn all aspects of the Merchandise operation including retail, carnival style games, outdoor carts, candy stores, and warehouse operations. Intern will learn to understand all P&L categories, budgetary expenditures, and the three-legged stool. This role will provide opportunities to build positive working relationships while working alongside and leading team members.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in location operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manages locations in cleanliness, merchandising, and visual standards.
- Assists with talent management, which includes having effective communication and human resources.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures and policies, and learns leadership skills focusing on fairness and consistency.
- Manages location P&L including labor, non-labor, and cost of goods.
- Understands the inventory process including buying, shipping, warehouse, and relieving inventory.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Business Management, Hospitality.
- Basic Financial knowledge.

- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
