JOB SUMMARY:
The Creative Strategy team guides the Creative Studio through the strategic thinking needed to build the greatest projects imaginable. This Intern will be a key storyteller in data interpretation for the Strategy team. In this position, the Creative Strategy Intern will be able to assist Universal Creative with researching key information relevant to projects and analyzing this information to assist with strategy creation. The Intern will gain key knowledge about how a business brings strategy to life and walk away with an in-depth understanding of how to build theme park project strategies.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews multiple data points to help distill relevant information.
- Serves as critical thought partner in strategy development.
- Brings recommendations from coursework to the internship.
- Reviews, builds and contributes to strategy decks.
- Maintains data repositories.
- Stays abreast of current and future trends pertaining to the industry.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Business Administration, Strategy, Design, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Finance, or similar.
- Preferred proficiency with financial calculations and basic accounting.
Please note the following:
- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
