JOB SUMMARY:
Supports the Open-Door area of the Human Resources team by assisting with daily administration of departmental activities that promote a positive working environment for all team members. Serves as the first point of contact for team members in issue identification and referral.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administers “Open Door Appeal” and “Peer Review” processes. Monitors and tracks appeals and runs metrics around trends, outcomes, and statuses.
- Utilizes MS Word and Excel to analyze, compile, update and maintain department correspondence and reports. Disseminates data and information to the appropriate parties. Creates presentations and trainings using MS PowerPoint and other computer programs.
- Provides general administrative support and clerical duties for Open Door department, which includes scheduling, phone calling, correspondence, data entry, and filing.
- Serves as the first point of contact for the HR4U Team Member phone line and email for complaint intake, issue identification and referral. Maintains communication with Team Members seeking guidance.
- Reviews employee relations cases, creates case file in database, and researches historical documentation related to cases.
- Generates, reviews, calibrates and distributes Open Door metric reports on a regular basis.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business Administrative or related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of human resources, administrative or applicable experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in Human Resources or Employee Relations; or equivalent education and experience
