JOB SUMMARY

The Associate Inspector, Quality Assurance Evaluation (QAE) is responsible for inspecting the quality of the ride inspections and procedures. Conducts inspections and the enforcement of quality standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspects ride safety and compliance at Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) locations.
  • Reviews optimal use of Maximo CMMS system for reporting and tracking of quality control tasks, inspection reports, engineering dispositions, and final acceptance.
  • Documents and inspects all aspects of UDX Ride & Show efforts for compliance with specific location requirements.
  • Interacts with partners in technical services and/or project management to solve quality assurance issues in the field and follows up with the appropriate channels when mistakes are found.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree is in applicable technical field preferred.

EXPERIENCE

3+ years’ experience with Theme Park quality assurance preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
