JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for handling sales related activities including administrative and customer support-based initiatives. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with sales clients. Position requires effective and timely communication and planning skills to meet deadlines, while prioritizing overall workload. Provide regular updates to sales team members and contribute where needed to assist with overall sales team duties and accomplishments.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately processing STARS Performance Program and Universal Studies applications.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external partners/clients.
- Promptly answer and respond to inquiries on the Youth Sales phone line and via email.
- Responsible for supporting the sales efforts of the Youth Sales team.
- Perform other sales related administrative duties as needed.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent or technical school is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ year Hotel/Hospitality industry administrative experience (preferably sales) required.
- Experience with SalesForce customer management software and student group travel operators preferred.
