JOB SUMMARY: In this role, the intern will review engineering documentation for Ride & Show systems - including but not limited to drawings, theory of operations, hazard analyses, and more. The intern will develop working relationships with variety of internal partners across the project to create and update communications and tracking systems for documentation, strengthening interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, the Compliance & Auditing intern will learn to execute audits on Ride & Show systems' documentation and work with project team to problem-solve any issues found during audit.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Compliance lead, engineers, and Technical Managers to communicate audit requirements and report documentation collection status.
- Review and audit Ride & Show documentation provided by vendors and relevant 3rd parties against industry standards and for completion.
- Responsible for maintaining progress reports for documentation completion, audit progress, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Mechanical Engineering, other Engineering or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required).
- Strong knowledge of Excel (required) and/or SmartSheet (preferred).
- Education in engineering (required), Mechanical Engineering preferred.

- This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
