Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program:

JOB SUMMARY: Support the construction management of a theme park attraction during active construction. Intern(s) will have direct field exposure to most divisions of work, and will gain experience with construction activities like information management, site logistics, scheduling, payment application management, and field quality control.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support vendor management inclusive of deliverable management, pay application management, requests for information, submittals for approval, and field quality control.
• Establish good working relationships with Vendors and Contractors.
• Support management of internal reporting processes.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required. 
• A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Preferred majors include: Construction Management or Engineering
• Building Construction or Engineering track.
• Preferred skills in: Scheduling, Estimating, Accounting

Please note the following:

• This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2026.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
