JOB SUMMARY
Serves as a key partner to Universal Horror Unleashed’s Technical & Show Operations management by upholding and reinforcing company and venue-specific policies and procedures. Supports the planning, logistics, and execution of Technical & Show workloads, coordinating with internal teams, outside vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects and maintenance activities. Responsible for managing technical documentation, maintaining preventive maintenance schedules, monitoring compliance, and supporting financial forecasting related to inventory and equipment usage. Provides accurate and timely reports to leadership and partnering departments to reduce downtime and support operational continuity. Additionally, supports the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Maximo including functional training, process planning, data integrity, and user support to ensure alignment with business requirements and promote operational efficiency across all Tech & Show and partnering divisions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drives preventive and predictive maintenance planning by building and maintaining accurate job plans, work orders, and technical submissions. Coordinates with in-house teams, vendors, and partner departments to schedule work around show availability, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising operational uptime. Proactively identifies risks and escalates issues to management with recommended solutions to reduce downtime and safeguard show continuity.
- Leads the implementation and support of Maximo CMMS enhancements by providing end-user training, troubleshooting, and technical assistance; develops and maintains SOPs and training materials; manages system access and requests via ServiceNow; drives data integrity improvements; and oversees continuous improvement initiatives to ensure long-term system effectiveness.
- Leads the development, modification, and auditing of venue documentation, schedules, and training/licensing verification. Designs and maintains compliance systems to track certifications and safety training, ensuring 100% accuracy and audit readiness. Works directly with leadership to forecast training gaps, develop readiness documentation, and enforce regulatory standards that protect both employee safety and guest experience.
- Maintenance and plans technical equipment reporting, capturing data from maintenance systems to monitor utilization, lifecycle, and performance trends. Builds advanced dashboards that provide visibility into purchasing patterns, downtime analysis, and show quality impacts. Partners with Finance to forecast capital needs, ensuring leadership has reliable data to support budgeting, procurement, and long-term lifecycle planning.
- Maintains all official Technical & Show documentation, including SOPs, OEM bulletins, engineering updates, and safety procedures. Ensures document control is accurate and up to date through established processes (e.g., ECN/DCN). Supports quality control and safety audits by preparing accurate documentation packages and providing leadership with reports that inform operational decisions and regulatory compliance.
- Plans, coordinates and assign tasks across technicians, partner departments, and external vendors, ensuring expectations and specifications are clearly communicated. Tracks task completion, escalates delays, and consolidates reporting on outstanding items for leadership review. Enforces accountability by monitoring vendor performance, recommending corrective measures, and ensuring operational readiness is not compromised.
- Partners with Logistics and Technical Leads to oversee warehouse storage, inventory tracking, and daily delivery notifications for technical equipment. Monitors equipment usage to identify lifecycle and replacement needs, advising leadership on capital investment priorities. Implements warehouse efficiency measures to improve availability of equipment, reduce downtime, and maintain smooth venue operations, replacement needs, and warehouse efficiency to improve equipment availability and reduce downtime.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.
- The individual must possess extensive knowledge in maintenance procedures, job plans, purchasing, inventory and work management workflow as they apply to these systems, preferably in a theme entertainment environment.
- The individual must also have experience with an industrial-quality CMMS system, preferably Maximo, and database technologies including SQL analytics and coding.
- Must have the ability to:
- Read and interpret English-language documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Write reports and maintenance procedures.
- Perform data analysis relevant to project tasks.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group environments.
- The individual must be familiar with maintenance reliability concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as Microsoft Project and Visio.

- Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays. Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
EDUCATION:
- Technical school preferred. Associate degree (AA) in General Education or Technology preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 + years’ experience within the technical entertainment and technology/technical project management is required. or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years’ experience with Maximo, SAP or other enterprise CMMS is preferred.
