JOB SUMMARY:
Lead Digital Product Management for UDX Global Products, with a focus on Web, Mobile, and Commerce platforms. Provide overall and day to day vision, guidance and oversight of Digital product development aimed at transforming and modernizing the UDX Guest experience across the entire customer journey – planning, arrival, on property, departure and repeat visitation. Lead and develop product design, planning, roadmap management, technology integration, and business implementation. Provide Executive leadership within a cross-functional and global Digital organization. Partner with other Leaders within Digital and engage stakeholders across the broader UDX organization, to drive Executive communication and alignment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
DIGITAL PRODUCT PLANNING AND INITIATIVE LEADERSHIP
- Lead and oversee digital product development for Web, Mobile, and Commerce value-streams, over a multi-year horizon for domestic and international UDX destinations.
- Provide day to day leadership to product management and cross-functional teams in the development and roll-out of capabilities and enhancements aimed at addressing customer friction points to achieve superior guest satisfaction and business growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve or enhance systems and tools, processes and resources.
- Provide oversight and guidance to a mixture of internal partners and external stakeholders.
- Develop and launch key innovation concepts and platforms to address guest experience and business growth opportunities.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP/COLLABORATION:
- Drive Digital Product strategy through collaborative, cross-functional teams that include Digital & Technology, Operations, Marketing, Creative, Industrial Engineering, Operations and Finance.
- Provide clear executive decision-making for strategic direction and prioritization. Serve as an Executive point of contact for reviews, approvals, and escalations when needed.
- Ensure integration of Digital technologies with other systems (IT, Finance) and establish related support and reporting procedures.
- Drive continuous people, process, and technology improvement, working with cross-functional teams.
DEPARTMENT LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
- Achieve operational excellence and superior guest experience advances by building a high-performing team to achieve and exceed goals and objectives.
- Supervise and mentor a global team of Executive-level direct reports and Management-level Team Members focused on Product Management across UOR, USH, and USJ.
VENDOR MANAGEMENT
- Manage initial and ongoing relationships with vendors and outside service providers as it relates to Digital Product Management.
BUDGET & PROCESS MANAGEMENT TOOLS
- Manage department budget.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in marketing, engineering, technology, analytics, or related fields.
- Advanced degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
12+ years in digital product leadership, eCommerce, customer experience transformation, technology enablement, and/or digital innovation required.
