JOB SUMMARY:

Provides the technical skills needed to support the daily operation of the assigned entertainment venue and/or event, including the operation and execution of entertainment shows. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the daily operation of the technical elements within the assigned entertainment venue and/or event.
• Responsible for completing pre and post show presets, resets and checklists of assigned technical equipment elements.
• Assist with the appropriate maintenance of venue and equipment as assigned for proper operation, organization and cleanliness.
• Assisting in maintaining shows or event specific inventory of all technical equipment and supplies.
• Accountable to strictly adhere to all policies and procedures, as defined by the Entertainment Department, governing the safe operation of all technical equipment
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: 

• High school degree is required.
• Technical school is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 

• 1-3 years:  One to three years’ experience within the professional theme park/theater industry in a technical capacity preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
