Universal Horror Unleashed is a terrifyingly unique experience that will bring haunts to Las Vegas year-round. Located at Area 15 is the heart of horror – we would love to have you haunting alongside us! With the nature of this experience comes a unique working environment. You will find yourself working in dark environments around special effects including strobe lights, fog, artificial smells, and more. The working hours will be unique, typically spanning over late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating the overall day-to-day operation for Universal Horror Unleashed including overall support of departments reporting to the Assistant General Manager. Supports the overall operation by managing team communication, scheduling, training, merchandise inventory processes, distributing company equipment such as radios, hardware, and phones, procurement of operating materials/supplies, and the submission/tracking of Purchase Requisitions. Acts as the Operations Office Ambassador and provides administrative assistance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists and supports management in the administrative tasks and responsibilities associated with all departments overseen by the Assistant General Manager, including but not limited to Guest Experience, Guest Communications, Merchandise, Security, third-party vendors, Digital and Technology, Legal/Claims, Environmental, Health, and Safety. Supports the Managers in each of the respective departments by coordinating with UDX stakeholders, third-party service providers, and inter-departmental communications.
  • Coordinates with Operations management for daily staffing requirements, access, and concerns with 3rd party vendors including Security and Custodial services. Ensures entry access and regulatory measures are communicated and followed. Resolves and eases sensitive internal/external situations through collaboration across departments in a timely manner to ensure a continuous operation.
  • Assists and supports merchandise in the administrative tasks and responsibilities of stock operations, including but not limited to the completion of consolidation and transfer requests; conducting, uploading and researching cycle counts (including zero-out requests); researching and submitting SKU reports; ensuring damaged merchandise is recorded properly and timely; researching and resolving unreceived transfers; and ensuring price events take effect as scheduled and directed.
  • Serves as a liaison with Digital & Technology and other UDX departments in acquiring and maintaining hardware and software, supplies and other logistical needs through standard operating procedures. Ensures all company issued IT equipment is accurately tracked, deployed, and maintained following all established Universal standards and procedures.
  • Analyzes, compiles, updates, and maintains department data on spreadsheets. Completes necessary documentation for IT, merchandise, and department supply orders and service requests. Drives communication between Finance, Sourcing, and operational departments by providing appropriate documentation and addressing queries. Routinely audits Guest Experience Operations storage locations to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Provides clerical support to the Operations department by creating communications, presentations, and corresponding materials while maintaining equipment inventory, product assistance, and sourcing requests. Supports Operations leadership in maintaining all regulatory training tracking, Environmental, Health & Safety training and compliance efforts, and updating standard operating procedures and documentation. Assists with UKG scheduling as needed.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  

EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of Guest Service or Operations experience in hospitality or entertainment is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
