JOB SUMMARY:

The Global Promotions Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals to gain valuable knowledge, skills and early career experience on a global marketing team based in New York City, NY. In this position, the intern will get the chance to work on a semester-long competitive research project as well as contribute to presentation decks and recaps that will be shared with members of the leadership team.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and updates reporting tools and charts for weekly/monthly distribution across departments.
  • Provides administrative support as needed for the department, including expense reports, monthly team calendars, sending documents for signature, supply orders, and scheduling as needed.
  • Assists team in the development of marketing & sales materials, program overviews, media evaluation forms, and recap decks.
  • Attends calls & meetings and assists with team member’s projects.
  • Completes competitive research project to present to team at the end of Internship.
  • Gains exposure to promotional and partnership marketing on a global scale.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Preferred majors include: Marketing, Business Administration, Media, Communications, or similar.

     Please note the following:

  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our New York City, NY offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2026.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
