Project Scheduler – Global Attraction Programs

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project implementation plans and schedules throughout the full project lifecycle—from concept development through design, construction, production, installation, and commissioning. This includes creating and updating schedules, tracking progress, incorporating changes, and distributing reports. This role also involves coordinating client activities, managing current resources, and forecasting future needs based on the master schedule.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and statuses project schedules using scheduling software programs and incorporates deliverables and implementation strategies into project plans and schedules as strategies evolve.
  • Collaborates with internal and external teams to define activity durations, logic sequences, and resource needs, while coordinating with the Multi-Year Capital Planning team and UDX planning team to align future program schedules and minimize operational impacts.
  • Generates high-level summary reports to communicate project status, identify schedule variances, and propose corrective actions or workarounds to maintain project timelines.
  • Ensures accurate weekly status updates by working closely with cross-functional project management teams, supporting schedule maintenance and development of new schedule details as needed.
  • Conducts resource loading analyses to support forecasting and planning efforts across global attraction initiatives.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or an applicable field required.
  • Education requirements may be mitigated with additional years of experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years engineering/construction planning and scheduling experience is required
  • 3+ years theme park planning/coordination experience is preferred
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
