JOB SUMMARY:
Develop and implement a tiered audit program across divisions and destinations globally to drive continual improvement. Develop and conduct EHS and related audits with a control and process improvement focus. Ensure the adequacy of, and compliance with, Universal Destinations & Experiences (“UDX”) policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, as well as the overall internal control environment, particularly as it relates to safety. Develop proactive solutions, communicate potential impacts on the business, and work closely with cross-functional partners and leadership to ensure the audit program is implemented and corrective actions are tracked to closure. Responsible for maintaining audit-related documentation inclusive of that from third-party vendors.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and continually evolve a process and associated documentation (audit checklists, training content, etc.) supporting a tiered audit program globally across multiple divisions as well as the Cross Park Audit process. This is inclusive of auditor selection, schedule, auditor assignment, audit execution, finding and corrective action review, validation, approval and communication plans and budget management.
- Develop and conduct audits that are efficient, effective, and provide value to the business. Review, analyze, interpret, and make determinations that audit results are accurate and correct, validate recommended corrective actions, facilitate timely audit report reviews, and communicate results timely to Executive EHS leadership.
- Develop and conduct training to support those participating in the audit program. Provide hands-on guidance and support throughout the audit process. Analyze and interpret audit results to promote collaboration within the business on support for continual improvement.
- Interpret site performance and trends to perform a risk assessment resulting in a prioritized risk profile on at least an annual basis for each destination. The profile will be utilized to schedule audits, identify critical programs, determine EHS Operational team focus, and associated action plans. Provide routine reports for performance inclusive of risk assessment results, trends, and corrective efforts within the business.
- Support sites globally with Comcast Global Audits to include participation in interviews, provision of documents and records, leading site responses to Management Action Plans (site-dependent).
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree is required – BS/BA in Safety, Occupational Heath, and/or Environmental Discipline or otherwise related field.
- Required: Possess or have the education and experience to meet testing criteria for a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) issued by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) issued by IIA, or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) issued by BCSP. Preferred: ASP, CIH, CHMM, PE, or other equivalent internationally recognized certification within the EHS discipline.
EXPERIENCE:
- Hands-On Auditing and Audit Management Experience: 5 years’ of experience required for EHS compliance and/or management system auditing and audit management.
- Regulatory Understanding and Interpretation: Experience understanding, interpreting, and applying applicable EHS regulations, both US and international, to various work environments.
- Management System: Direct day-to-day oversight of EHS assurance program maintenance, strategic planning, scheduling, internal and external communications, performance measurement, conformance validation, EHS Standards implementation, audits, corrective action plans, training and presentations, liaise with cross functional business lines.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Familiarity with The Board for Global EHS Credentialing Code of Ethics and ISO 19011:2018 Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems.
- Ability to budget, plan and organize processes and teams of people, maintain schedules, follow tasks through to completion, develop and communicate summary reports to executive levels of the business.
- Possess business acumen and strong communication skills to identify, analyze, and act on information in a range of workplace conditions and ability to plan and evaluate approaches to sometimes unpredicted problems within a framework of existing operations and processes.
- Ability to influence and work on a team by applying communication, engagement, and skills to promote and support change and utilize mentoring skills to develop capability of management team members.
- Basic ability to develop focused Action Plans, forecast trends, and develop short term strategic plans.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft office, presentation development, and delivery.
- Remain well-organized while multi-tasking.
- Works well with others, takes initiative, has impeccable attention to detail, and is a self-starter.
