JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the daily operation of the warehouse and mail room including direction for Team Members as well as support for internal guests/interdepartmental partners. Monitors the operation to ensure Team Member safety, cleanliness, and proper usage of equipment and effective flow of goods, packages, and mail. Accountable for daily labor budgets, scheduling, quality, safety compliance, and development in assigned areas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the daily operation of the warehouse/storage spaces and mail room to ensure proper staffing, efficiencies, and service standards are met. Provides work direction to Team Members to ensure departmental Standard Operating Procedures are upheld and all equipment is operated within the appropriate safety guidelines. Responsible for responding to internal guest needs and operational issues, and communicating with leadership and various interdepartmental partners to resolve issues. Oversees the upkeep of documents, reports, delivery logs and tracking of shipments. Supports the distribution of mail, packages and goods that are received, as well as handling and processing of all incoming and outgoing items (freight and interdepartmental/international/domestic mail for all carriers). Ensures effective use of all storage space and that Team Members follow storage requirements.
- Reviews safety practices and procedures and responds to potentially unsafe conditions. Reports unsafe conditions to leadership. Performs all operational duties related to the daily opening and closing of the warehouse spaces and mail room including completing checklists as well as paperwork for operational readiness and safety. Inspects the work environment to ensure that each location has proper supplies/stock and is clean and organized. Schedules daily break and lunch periods to ensure appropriate coverage of positions. Coaches and uses feedback forms to document and maintain performance expectations and safe Team Member actions in accordance with Universal Destinations and Experiences (UDX) policy.
- Responsible for coaching and training Team Members. Upholds daily labor budgets for assigned venues and mitigates overtime by adjusting staffing according to business needs. Creates venue schedules for Assistant Manager approval, incorporating availability, meetings, classes, and various training programs. Monitors, tracks and records overtime and training projections and results. Analyzes and responds to various reports including but not limited to incident reports.
- Focuses on internal guest and Team Member satisfaction. Ensures that each Team Member is meeting UDX service standards for timely delivery of products, supplies, mail and packages so that departments consistently have items delivered when they need it while maintaining an efficient, safe and positive environment. Ensures that Team Member Satisfaction (TSAT) programs are being followed to keep the workplace fun while increasing overall job satisfaction and efficiency.
- Maintains positive relationships and partners with other departments to ensure that departmental goals are being met while maintaining standards. Responsible for maintaining the quality, cleanliness and facility maintenance standards to ensure the resort is “Show Ready” for Guests at all times and in back-of-house areas for Team Members. Assists with projects, initiatives and sustainment efforts as directed.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Will provide daily operational direction to one or more Hourly Team Members.
