JOB SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads the organization’s end to end recruiting strategy to attract, engage, and hire top talent aligned with business goals. This role partners closely with senior leaders, hiring managers, and HR to deliver a high quality, scalable, and inclusive hiring process while capitalizing on the strength of the UDX employer brand.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee life cycle recruiting from hiring manager intake through offer and onboarding. Ensure consistent, efficient and candidate centric hiring processes.
  • Manage TA performance metrics that deliver high quality talent. Translate data insights into actionable solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Lead, develop and coach a team of Recruiters and Coordinators.
  • Leverage the Talent Network/CRM and other sourcing licenses to build qualified talent pools for future needs as part of the passive sourcing strategy.
  • Optimize use of ATS and other recruitment tools to improve efficiency and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Campus, Early Careers and Events teams to maintain relationships with various outside recruitment channels and networks.
  • Support the full cycle recruitment of any assigned requisitions or provide supplemental assistance based upon volume or escalation needs.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or a related field) is required.
  • Certification as PHR, SPHR, CA-PHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5+ years progressive experience in talent acquisition with managing international and domestic talent acquisition functions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Experience leading talent acquisition function and strategy in a global organization.
  • Experience in highly technical environments and understanding of the nuances of talent acquisition for a workforce of highly technical professionals.
  • Experience in establishing effective talent acquisition strategies tailored to global markets.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume recruitment function for a large corporation or a start up with significant growth is preferred.
  • Experience implementing and/or leveraging an Automated Tracking System (ATS) and other TA technologies.Proven implementation and maintenance of social media recruiting strategies
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to prioritize activities with the drive, focus and follow-through necessary to achieve results while thriving in a rapid-paced, changing business environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and manage many tasks simultaneously, often with inflexible tight deadlines.
