JOB SUMMARY
:

Intern will be exposed to a wide array of Operations opportunities including On-the-Job training, Leadership training, project management experience, and general logistics within the Park Operations team. The internship will give the participant added Operations functional knowledge, improved prioritization and communication skills, leadership knowledge and experience assisting with the operating of an entire park full of new experiences.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists the Park Operations teams with a variety of operations projects and data collection.
  • Participates in field training for various park operations positions.
  • Attends meetings.
  • Assists with or leads walks and auditing needs across the park.
  • Assists the Operations Project team on assignment at various attractions or areas of the park.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophmore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required. 
  • A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Preferred majors include: Hospitality Management, or similar.
  • Experience with the hospitality industry, amusement or theme parks, and/or leadership preferred.
  • Experience providing oversight on multifaceted projects or events.

  • This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
