Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Supports Talent Acquisition programming to effectively source, attract and deliver a wide range of projects to meet project staffing goals. Maintains and supports innovation of HR tools, processes, communications, and systems to optimize knowledge and resources available to Team Members and candidates. Utilizes a wide array of tools, tactics and networks. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and recruit highly qualified candidates for Universal Orlando Resort / Universal Destinations & Experiences. Builds and leverages partnerships with HR functional teams and key stakeholders both locally, domestically, and globally, to promote symphony and maximize effectiveness of HR functional teams.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Drives and supports collaborative HR projects and programs by partnering with HR, cross-organizational functional teams and project stakeholders to facilitate meetings, create resources, monitor timelines and track progress on milestones. Identifies opportunities for effective alignment and focus of action.
  • Develops content in support of TA Initiatives; synthesizes information into communications and tools that maximize the Team Member and candidate experience. Ensures branding, voice, objectives, and values of company are consistent throughout.
  • Gathers and utilizes data and information from various internal and industry sources to continuously recommend and deliver innovative enhancements to HR tools, processes, and communications.
  • Creates job postings, marketing plans, strategic sourcing and staffing action plans to support requisition load. Assists and influences hiring managers to raise standards, applying behavioral interviewing and other techniques, adhering to company policies and practices. Tracks, reports and measure status of open positions, and continuously improve resources to best utilize time, budget and available resources to hire top-quality candidates. Collect and analyze data on demographics and hiring activity for use in designing recruitment plans.
  • Prepares and maintains project database/system and related documentation on an on-going basis for accountability and historical archives.
  • Available for ad hoc consultation and creation of UDX branded material in support of various HR initiatives.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or General Business/Project Management field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Project Management certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ Years Talent Acquisition experience proactively sourcing hourly, non-exempt and exempt level candidates required;
  • International recruitment experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in executing a full-cycle professional/technical exempt-level recruiting function.
  • Prior track record of establishing effective talent acquisition strategies;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
