Director, Benefits
Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:
Lead Benefits across UDX globally including physical, financial and mental health and well-being. Provide strategic direction and drive execution excellence of all benefits and well-being initiatives, policies and programs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the strategy, development, communication, implementation and change management of various benefits and well-being programs and projects based on business and/or regulatory objectives. Thoughtfully integrate the benefits needs across all our various businesses, workforce and geographic markets globally. Serve as a benefits subject matter expert, representative and advocate, maintaining strong collaboration with key partners.
- Assess benefit plan and program effectiveness including meaningful stats and reporting, insights on trends and opportunities, competitive benchmarking, assessing Team Member impact and ROI. Develop strategic balanced recommendations and action plans based on insights.
- Oversee administration, resources, guides, communications, tools and feeds (e.g., open enrollment, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, Team Member lifecycle) of all benefit programs, vendors and health services. Maintain and update benefits policy documents, ensuring alignment with regulations and business needs. Drive accurate and effective benefit program execution.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality service and cost efficiency. Monitor vendor performance through quarterly business reviews and issue resolution tracking. Identify opportunities for program improvements and cost savings.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience is highly preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years benefits management experience preferred.

- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
