Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains and controls inventories at levels adequate to sustain efficient operations. Places special orders for materials and tools based on work orders.

• Fill requisitions, work orders, and requests for materials, tools, and other stock items; distributes and stocks as appropriate.

• Efficiently picks/packs items on demand for staging purposes.

• Quickly and efficiently load and unload delivery truck by hand or by use of hand truck. Open and unpack boxes/containers.

• Verify accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and style numbers with information on invoice or packing slip and purchase orders. Record any discrepancies or damage. Receive items into Maximo.

• Sort and store items according to established procedures.

• Maintain computerized inventory records, take physical count periodically, and check against inventory control totals using computer. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy.

• Assist with day-to-day activities/projects or other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, walk around forklift, pallet jack, handcart and other standard warehouse equipment.

• Knowledge and familiarity with a variety of technical parts and supplies.

• Knowledge of and experience with parts reference source and materials such as manufacturer manuals, books, internet and the ability to effectively use such materials to ensure correct parts ordering.

• Ability and willingness to work a variety of schedules, overtime, weekends and holidays with short notice.

• Ability and willingness to respond to incidents in locations requiring climbing, fall-protection, and other non[1]traditional work-environments.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written on a technical level.

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay rate starting $19.00 per hour and $40.85 per hour after 90 day completion
