Responsibilities:
- Moves with a sense of urgency by processing guests’ food and beverage orders and upselling products. Takes orders and delivers food and beverage in a timely manner. Checks identification of guests, to ensure that they are of legal drinking age.
- Operates cash registers, collect payments from guests, and returns change. Practices proper cash handling procedures in addition to entering all food and beverage items into the the point-of-sale system after every transaction, properly organizing money, counting change back to guests, and following appropriate checkout procedures.
- Maintains work areas by organizing and cleaning service stations and pre-bussing tables as needed of used glassware, plate ware, silverware etc. Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
- Adhere to any opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the venue, as scheduled. Maintain a clean, organized and sanitized food service area. Stock, clean, put away product in or discard waste as needed.
- Promote and provide extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance in a courteous manner.
- Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices, comply with all food and beverage regulations and ensure department standards are maintained and safety policies are upheld.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, integrity, and adherence to established cash-handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing concerns related to cash transactions while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure a compliant, efficient, and secure cash-handling process in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols.
- Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
- Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years older
- Valid California Food Handler required before first day
