BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate with various groups and trades on site during installation of theatrical lighting and show power distribution systems, including practical fixtures and emergency lighting systems.
• Interpret provided drawings and communicate system design intentions to installation teams.
• Answer any questions regarding installation requirements and methods of lighting and show power systems. When applicable, record any new questions, requests for information (RFI’s), or conflicts that require answering by any discipline.
• Facilitates on-site logistics by submitting requests and managing on-site space in relation to their covered areas. Coordinates lift orders and call offs as needed.
• Proactively anticipate and cross-functionally communicate the needs of the installation teams, including tracking dependencies of other disciplines and impacts of delays.
• Coordinate any schedule changes and updates to the project and technical management teams.
• Ensure all teams are working in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to understand and enforce department policies, procedures, and standards.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with theatrical lighting and power systems.
• Ability to interpret various drawings, including art renderings, CAD drawings, lighting plots, and paperwork.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain good attitude and situational awareness.
• Experience with Bluebeam is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Lightwright a plus.
• Experience in theatrical installations within a theme park is a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Eligibility

• Attendance - TM must have 8 or below attendance points AND no more than a Written Warning 2 in the last 6 months
• Variance - TM must have 7 or below variance points AND no more than a Final Written Warning in the last 6 months
• Behavioral - No more than a Final Written Warning level discipline in the last 6 months
• Probationary Status - TM must have passed or be within 75% Through probation during application/ selection and must have passed probation as of start date of role
• Leadership - No removal from lead role in the last 6 months
• Must be current USH Team Member
• Availability - Must have full open availability
