BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the maintenance of design integrity across all disciplines. Identify conflicts between design and construction plans and facilitate resolution/communication with all stakeholders.
- Review all documents related to install including scenic, engineering, and architectural plans to identify potential challenges and provide solutions for an efficient installation prior to on-site activity.
- Ensure site safety standards are communicated and maintained. Perform daily site safety walks and prepare support documentation.
- Supervise site installation progress, track completion of all site elements, and communicate progress to production team. Create daily reports.
- Attend/prepare for internal safety and regulatory entity inspections to ensure awareness and compliance.•
- Coordinate with USH Logistics Team for material and asset deliveries.
- Prepare site for installation: verify site readiness, assist with project layout.
- Maintain detailed site-specific schedules for all stakeholders and dependencies.
- Provide daily look-ahead to all on-site leads based on published schedules.
- Provide layout and labeling for various trades on site, (i.e. marking locations for practical light fixtures, doors, windows, support blocking, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must demonstrate excellent guest service, time management, composure, leading and motivating team members.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Must be able to read and interpret CAD drawings including ground plans, architectural drawings and engineering drawings.
- General awareness of Type V building and safety/Fire code, as well as ADA requirements.
- General awareness of materials, hardware and construction methods as well as entertainment theming.
- General awareness of union conditions and rules. Experience with multiple trades and vendors working concurrently.
- Current leads/trainers preferred. Willingness to work late evenings, overnights and/or early mornings.
- Strong communication skills: ability to communicate precise information to and from multiple sources.
- Superior leadership and motivational skills.
- Ability to work successfully and safely in a fast paced and continually changing environment with accelerated production schedules.
- Familiarity with the park at night and an ability to safely drive a golf cart in various lighting conditions.
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills. Preferable familiarity with Adobe/Bluebeam PDF applications.
Eligibility
- Attendance - TM must have 8 or below attendance points AND no more than a Written Warning 2 in the last 6 months
- Variance - TM must have 7 or below variance points AND no more than a Final Written Warning in the last 6 months
- Behavioral - No more than a Final Written Warning level discipline in the last 6 months
- Probationary Status - TM must have passed or be within 75% Through probation during application/ selection and must have passed probation as of start date of role
- Leadership - No removal from lead role in the last 6 months
- Must be current USH Team Member
- Availability - Must have full open availability
