RISE Center lab assistants are nursing majors who have successfully completed core 2nd year courses: NURS2020 Assessment and NURS3015 Foundations. They assist faculty and staff in the smooth running of the RISE Center both in classes and behind the scenes. Lab Assistants are responsible for working with students, administrators, faculty, staff, visitors as well as equipment and supply cleaning, maintenance, set up and tear down. |

The Robert Morris University Academic Media Center (AMC) serves RMU as a campus-wide, cross-disciplinary, immersive academic learning center, and incubator that provides media services to the University, as well as fosters innovative, collaborative, media-based experiential learning opportunities for diverse academic disciplines, campus organizations, and the community. The Center For Outreach & Impact Student Assistant is an administrative and event support person who works under the direction of an outreach manager to create awareness and visibility of the COI brand among its stakeholders. Responsible for the implementation of an outreach strategy by creating a good rapport with a chosen audience and educating them about the outreach programs. The Center For Outreach & Impact Student Assistant has an interest in communications and event planning. They will support outreach and impact activities, summer camps, workshops, and other various off/on-campus event representation. This is a part-time, non-benefit role limited which is "as needed". |

The student concierge team provides front-line customer service for all academic schools. They are the main source of school-level information for all prospective students/families and current students. These students maintain a thorough knowledge of the university and their respective school. The goal of the student concierge team is to improve the daily lives of RMU students (from recruitment through graduation) by providing a single source of knowledge for all campus and community information. Members will develop professional skills in communication, time management, personal responsibility and leadership. A concierge team member is an elite campus position that carries prestige and recognition. Members will be seen as the face of their respective academic schools and will be consulted regarding all student school-level initiatives. |

Peer Tutors - Assist students at RMU in those courses where they might be having difficulty. Peer tutors work with students both one-on-one and in small groups in the Tutoring Center in the Center for Student Success, providing assistance in understanding course materials and homework assignments, as well as, when appropriate, study skills and time-management skills. Peer Tutors will be open to in-person, virtual, and drop-in appointments with tutees during their shifts. |
