RMU CIO Outreach Assistant is an administrative support person who works under the direction of an outreach manager to create awareness and visibility to the CIO brand among its stakeholders. Responsibility for the implementation of an outreach strategy by creating a good rapport with a chosen audience and educating them about the outreach programs. The CIO Outreach assistant is a communications and event planning specialist who supports the outreach and innovation activities, summer camps, workshops, and other various off campus event representation. This is a part-time, non benefit role limited which is "as needed". The position is expected to be approximately 400 hours per calendar year and limited to a maximum of 950 hours annually.
  • Assists with managing event details and organization including maintaining a calendar and social media accounts.
  • Collaborate with other schools and centers to share information about the CIO.
  • Helping with research and reporting for camps and workshops.
  • Attend and represent the CIO at occasional events.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • 3 years of professional experience preferred
  • Computer literacy
  • Verbal and written articulacy
  • Professional discretion
  • Efficiency
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
