Two-Year Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer and Information Systems Computer and Information Systems Moon Campus
The Department of Computer and Information Systems (CIS) at Robert Morris University invites applications for two (2) full-time Two-Year Visiting Assistant Professors. The appointment will include a 24-credit teaching load during the academic year, with the primary responsibility of teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in one or more of the following areas: information systems, cybersecurity, data science/analytics, computer science, or AI/machine learning. These positions will begin in August 2026 and run until May 2028 (the 2026-27 and 2027-28 academic years).
Academic Advisor and First Year Experience Coordinator Center For Student Success Moon Campus
As a member of the Center for Student Success team, this student-centered position supports undergraduate recruitment and retention across programs in the assigned areas. Primary responsibilities include academic advising, participating in recruitment initiatives and activities, serving as a point of contact for undergraduate students within specific departments and programs, and providing oversight for our First-Year Experience Program. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director of the Center for Student Success and includes collaboration with Academic Department Heads and/or other program personnel. This position is a full-time, in-person position during the academic year and may include occasional evening and weekend hours obligations. Flexibility for a hybrid work schedule during other times of the year may be available.
Literacy Tutor, Structured Literacy Education Moon Campus
The Structured Literacy Tutor will work directly with children in grades K-12 that are referred to the Center for reading and/or writing tutoring. The Tutor will conduct screenings on all incoming students to determine instructional needs, plan developmentally appropriate instruction based on data, conduct progress monitoring, communicate with parents, and administer all post assessments with clients. The Tutor is responsible for all parent communication and preparation of materials associated with tutoring sessions. The Tutor will keep accurate and timely time sheets and attendance records. Frequent meetings with the Coordinator of the Center will be essential to ensure all students are being serviced properly. This position is partially funded by non-university funds. Position continuation is contingent upon grant renewal or procurement of additional funding sources. This is a part-time position not eligible for University benefits. Work hours are limited to 950 per calendar year and less than 29 hours per week on a regular basis.

The position provides law enforcement and public safety services to the University community. It is a sworn position and requires the carrying of a firearm.
