The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a continuing-track (non-tenure) position in Management Information Systems at the Instructor rank to develop an innovative, cutting-edge instructional program. Teaching load is a maximum of eight courses per year with potential reductions for service. This is a permanent position, renewable with increasing contract renewal lengths.
Appointment at the rank of Instructor requires a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Candidates will be expected to teach courses in Management Information Systems and Business Analytics, including programming, database design, statistics, and data analytics. The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems is housed within Lerner College and offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and in management information systems and several joint degrees, partnering with both the College of Engineering and the College's MBA programs.
