The group of Prof. Lars Gundlach at the University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware, is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Ultrafast Laser Spectroscopy. The project involves the design, development, and commissioning of a novel 2D THz spectrometer. The spectrometer is being developed to study dynamics in novel magnetic quantum materials developed as part of an MRSEC center at UD. This postdoctoral position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a well-funded project with state-of-the-art laser technology.

The Statistical Analyst will assist with the implementation, support, and expansion of the University’s business analytics capabilities. Under the general direction of the Principal Investigator, the Limited Term Researcher will participate in research to identify mechanisms underlying reward related behaviors. A wide range of experiments involving behavioral, imaging, molecular, genetic, and biochemical approaches in fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster will be carried out. The Limited Term Researcher will maintain a notebook describing experimental methods and results, participate in research discussions, and interpret research results. This NIH funded position offers the opportunity for motivated candidates to gain technical and leadership skills in a growing lab at UD.
