Assistant Professor (Temporary), Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry The University of Delaware The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry (https://www.chem.udel.edu/), in the College of Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a temporary assistant professor-level position in Chemistry and Biochemistry, starting August 16, 2026. This position offers a strong, supportive setting for a teaching-intensive role in the environment of an active research department with robust undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful candidate will have expertise in teaching introductory chemistry classes to chemistry and biochemistry majors and non-majors, including core concepts in introductory chemistry. Experience in teaching introductory biochemistry will be considered a positive. The ability to impact other areas of the department’s curriculum for undergraduate students is desirable. Successful applicants will share our vision to be a department that is nationally recognized for high impact research and for delivering exceptional education across the chemical sciences. The University of Delaware is a Land Grant, Sea Grant, Space Grant, and Carnegie Research University with external funding exceeding $200 million per annum. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry’s missions in undergraduate instruction and training support several thousand UD undergraduate students each year. Faculty will be provided with a competitive, ‘hard-funded’ salary.
Nannie Longfellow Endowed Chair and Professor of Nursing Science	Newark, DE
The School of Nursing in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Delaware invites applications for a senior-level tenured Nannie Longfellow Endowed Chair and Professor of Nursing Science position. We seek a visionary senior scholar with a vigorous, extramurally funded research program that aligns with one of the School’s existing research strengths. The School of Nursing aligns with National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) and its identified research lenses: Health Equity, Social Determinants of Health, Population and Community Health, Prevention and Health Promotion, and Systems and Models of Care. Doctorate and current faculty rank of associate or full professor required. This endowed chair is a 5-year tenure-line, renewable upon successful review.
