The Student Advocacy & Support team is dedicated to directly assisting students in navigating the complexities of university life and developing personalized plans to address their concerns. Our approach to supporting students is centered around empowerment and individualized care.
Role Description:
Student Advocacy and Support is seeking a motivated and dependable Front Desk Student Assistant to provide essential front desk coverage and administrative support. This role offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to initiatives that enhance the Blue Hen student experience and to work closely with our Student Support and Advocacy team.
Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for the office suite, greeting visitors, and checking them in for appointments.

Provide administrative assistance to department staff.

Assist with various special projects and tasks as assigned by members of the Student Support and Advocacy team.

Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Demonstrated punctuality and strong attendance record.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Highly dependable and reliable in completing assigned tasks.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Proactive and eager to learn new tasks and contribute to departmental goals.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email, calendar systems).

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
