The Department of Biological Sciences is immediately seeking qualified adjuncts to teach majors-level laboratory courses in evolution, genetics, cell biology, ecology, anatomy and physiology, and microbiology, as well as general biology for non-science majors. Qualifications:

Master’s degree required in the field of biology, or a field of science clearly related to the course. Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience, favorable recommendations from references, and favorable previous teaching evaluations.

Rowan University is a Carnegie-classified Doctoral University (Moderate Research Activity) with approximately 19,000 students. Its main campus is located in Glassboro, N.J., 20 miles southeast of Philadelphia, with additional campuses in Camden and Stratford. In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
