Adjunct Faculty – Mathematics, Statistics & Math Education

The Department of Mathematics is seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, and mathematics education.  Teaching limits are no more than 12 credits per academic year (fall and spring semesters) and no more than 8 credits any academic semester.

Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education, or a field clearly related to the course, is required.  Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience and strong recommendations from references.  All applications will be retained for future adjunct appointments.

Please note: candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor a visa for this position.

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
