Grants Coordinator - Professional Services Specialist 4 (Grant Funded)

Summary:

The Wellness Center is searching for a Grants Coordinator. This position will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing grant efforts, ensuring grant management contributing to the Wellness Center’s financial health.  The Grants Coordinator will oversee current grant funding and reporting while also researching future grant opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify and evaluate potential grant opportunities from various funding sources (e.g., foundations, government agencies, corporations). 

  • Develop, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals that align with the organization's mission and strategic goals, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines. 

  • Develop and manage grant budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure funds are allocated according to grant guidelines. 

  • Maintain accurate records of all grant-related activities, track compliance with requirements, and prepare and submit required financial and narrative reports to funding agencies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, stakeholders, and internal teams. 

  • Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather necessary information for grant proposals and reports, ensuring alignment and effective communication. 

  • Track the progress and financial performance of awarded grants, analyze data, and prepare reports to demonstrate impact and measure outcomes. 

  • Stay up-to-date on grant industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 3-5 years of experience in grants management or fundraising preferred, one year of professional experience required.

  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with grant budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.

  • Knowledge of various funding sources and grant application processes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary & Benefits:

  • In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is AFT: Range 18 (Step 1: $55,142 to Step 4: $63,410), with placement within the range determined by candidate's qualifications, professional experience, internal equity, and other factors.

For eligible employees, benefits include: comprehensive NJ State health, dental and retirement benefits, extensive accrued time off/paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement for employee, spouse, and dependents to attend Rowan University, Glassboro. (Tuition reimbursement will apply to undergraduate degrees only for spouse and dependents).
