Basic Responsibilities ● Maintain the circulation desk and provide a hospitable and professional presence for visiting families and guests.
● Ensure the Hunter Welcome Center remains organized, correcting anything out of place to maintain a polished and welcoming environment.
● Assist with event setup and hospitality needs for visiting families and prospective students.
● Provide administrative and organizational support to the campus visits and events team
● Participate in the planning and execution of large events
● Support daily campus tours, ensuring they are running smoothly and providing a positive visitor experience.
Essential Duties

● Serve as the primary point of contact at the Hunter Welcome Center, greeting visitors with professionalism and warmth.
● Regularly inspect and tidy common areas, addressing any issues that detract from a welcoming environment.

● Monitor breakroom supplies, order restocks and ensure the space remains clean and functional.
● Address unexpected needs of the visits and events team or last-minute adjustments to maintain a high level of hospitality and professionalism.
● Support the coordination of large campus events by providing logistical and hospitality support.
● Supper daily campus tours, offering assistance when needed and ensuring they maintain a high standard of excellence.
● Plan and execute small team celebrations to foster a positive and engaging work environment.
● Manage the enrollment break room

Professional Development Requirements

● Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a professional, polished environment.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
● Organizational and problem-solving skills.


Training Required:
● Customer service and hospitality training.

Qualifications

ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee
to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU.


Professional Qualifications:
● Previous experience in hospitality or office coordination is preferred.
● High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and basic administrative software.


Personal Qualifications:
● Friendly, welcoming demeanor with a high standard of professionalism.
● Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
● Willingness to take initiative in maintaining an excellent guest experience.
● Team-oriented mindset with a passion for creating a positive environment.

Physical Demands ● Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
● Light lifting may be required (e.g., arranging supplies, setting up for events).
