Basic Responsibilities
  1. Assist with planning and execution of homecoming parade, homecoming court, and steering committee

  2. Alumni Mentoring Program

  3. Western United States Events and Alumni Engagement

  4. Young Alumni Strategy

  5. Supervision of Alumni Student Employees

  6. Legacy Program

  7. Student Alumni Association

  8. Alumni Day Luncheon

Essential Duties
  1. Assist with the planning and execution of homecoming parade, homecoming court, steering committee and candlelight devotional by:

    1. Carry out planning, oversight, and execution of Homecoming responsibilities

    2. Budget oversight and management for Homecoming responsibilities

  1. Assist with Alumni Mentoring Program by:

    1. Design and build structures for alumni to alumni mentoring and alumni to student mentoring

    2. Formulate budget and efforts to drive engagement through mentoring and build programming for the strategic vison of Advancement and ACU.

  1. Western U.S. Territory Events and Engagement

    1. Organize and plan events in our western US markets

    2. Build a system for volunteers in western US markets

    3. Assist with admissions efforts in the western US markets

  1. Organize Young Alumni Strategy

    1. Help build a plan to focus on young alumni strategy for engagement and connection to their alma mater

    2. Formalize a budget for young alumni programming

  1. Supervision of Alumni Student Employees

    1. Manage tasks for employee to complete

    2. Organize their semester schedules

  1. Legacy Program

    1. Coordinate yearly mailing of Catpacks and Pillowcases in coordination with Advancement Communication team

    2. Coordinate monthly mailing of Wildcat babywear

  1. Student Alumni Association

    1. Coordinate and execute recruiting, chapels, and officer meetings with the help of the SAA officers

    2. Coordinate Young Alumni Forums (virtual and in-person)

    3. Coordinate Senior Candlelight Sendoff

  1. Oversee the Alumni Day Luncheon 

    1. In coordination with the alumni team, work with the young alumnus recipient to plan and organize the Alumni Day Luncheon

    2. Coordinate with alumni team for the outstanding recipient

    3. Manage and oversee budget for the event

Professional Development Requirements
  1. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM or the willingness and ability to learn
  2. Interested in staying “current” through professional development in the alumni relations profession
Qualifications
  1. Professional
  1. Bachelor’s degree required
  2. An alumna/us or former student of ACU
  3. Extensive customer service experience
  4. Outstanding presentation and writing communication skills
  5. Exceptional organizational skills
  6. Understand the importance of building and maintaining relationships
