This position is responsible for the daily administration and operation of undergraduate housing. This is an 12-month, full-time, live-in position that requires participation in an after-hours on-call duty rotation.
Software Implementation Specialist Poughkeepsie, NY
Marist University welcomes applications for the position of Software Implementation Specialist as a team member in Administrative Computing in the Information Technology Division, reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Solutions. Working closely with the DBAs, Application Programmers, System Administrators and Application Administrators, this position’s primary responsibility is the installation of 3rd party software and the integration to Ellucian’s Banner ERP. Essential technical duties include the continued maintenance and support of the software and applying the required upgrades and bug fixes. Marist University welcomes applications for the position of ERP Programmer in the Information Technology Division. This position is responsible for supporting Marist’s Ellucian Banner ERP and in the development of various software products in support of the University mission. This position will also write, test, document and deliver new software and processes based upon customer requests; develop reports; and ensure data integrity. The ERP programmer/analyst acts as a liaison with administrative offices while providing user support and excellent customer service. Assistant or Associate Professor of Chemistry Poughkeepsie, NY
The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, & Physics at Marist University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Chemistry starting Fall 2026. The Department’s academic mission is immeasurably enriched by an inclusive community in which diverse perspectives are respected and valued. Thus, candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in undergraduate teaching and the ability to establish an active research program involving undergraduates. Teaching duties will be in the successful candidate’s area of interest as well as foundation chemistry courses as needed. The candidate will also play a key role in helping to maintain the department’s ACS-approved curriculum. Academic advising, committee service, and active contributions to the growth and development of the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, & Physics at Marist University are also expected.
Assistant Professor of Operations Management or Professional Lecturer of Operations Management Poughkeepsie, NY
Depending on the successful applicant’s background and qualifications, this can be either a tenure-track position or a term (professional lecturer) position in operations management. We are seeking a faculty member able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in operations, supply chain, analytics and related subjects. Tenure-track faculty are expected to maintain a robust program of disciplinary research resulting in peer-reviewed publications. Term faculty are not required to conduct research, but are expected to maintain close ties to their profession. All faculty also participate in the life of the School and its activities, including involvement in committee work, student advising and support, and community outreach activities. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for the position as an Assistant Professor (or Professional Lecturer) for the Spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate could alternatively opt to start the position in the Fall 2026 semester. We welcome candidates who will place a strong emphasis on quality teaching in a small classroom setting. Our typical class size is fewer than 25 students. The expected course load for our tenure-track faculty is 21 credits, typically distributed as a 3:4 course load. Term faculty teach 24 credits per year (4:4 load).
