Job Title: Production Assistant, Quinnipiac Productions
Department: Marketing and Communications
Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study and Non-Federal Work-Study 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day production responsibilities. (Editing ~70%, Filming ~30%)
  • Contribute to and execute the creative direction and vision of production initiatives. 
  • Complete special projects with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with graphics creation, color correction, and audio mixing. 
  • Participate in Production Assistant Training (week before each semester)
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: • Non-linear editing experience, preferably Adobe Premiere
• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, etc.).
• Strong storytelling and editing skills.
• Ability to take feedback with a desire and passion to learn and improve.
• Self-motivated and eager to take an idea or task and run with it.
• Excellent communicator
• Strong time management skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to carry 50 lbs
Hours of Position:
  • Position with start dates in May 2024 or August 2024
  • Summer work hours: Up to 24hrs a week
  • AY 24/25 work hours: At least 10 hours a week scheduled per week (up to 15 hours a week for undergraduate students or 20 hours a week for graduate students)
  • Some nights and weekends
