Job Title: Digital Asset Specialist, Quinnipiac Productions
Department: Marketing and Communications
Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study and Non-Federal Work-Study 
Responsibilities:
  • Digital Asset Organization: Support the organization and classification of digital assets.
  • Metadata Management: Apply consistent metadata tags and keyword to digital assets to enhance discoverability, searchability, and retrieval efficiency.
  • Asset Retrieval: Collaborate and assist with members of the team to identify and find assets for projects.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of digital assets and associated metadata.
  • Participate in Quinnipiac Productions Training (week before each semester)
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and excellent organizational skills to maintain a well-structured digital asset library.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, handle tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting, actively participating in a cross-functional projects and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Experience: While not mandatory, basic knowledge of video editing software is a plus.
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to carry 50 lbs
Hours of Position:
  • Position with start dates in May 2024 or August 2024
  • Summer work hours: Up to 24hrs a week
  • AY 24/25 work hours: At least 10 hours a week scheduled per week (up to 15 hours a week for undergraduate students or 20 hours a week for graduate students)
  • Some nights and weekends
