Job Title: Undergraduate Admissions Student Ambassador
Department: Undergraduate Admissions

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm to engage an audience of prospective students, families, and counselors on a campus tour
  • Positively promote the Quinnipiac community by sharing stories of your experience comfortably and confidently
  • Participate in weekend and large scale events like Open House, Admitted Students Experience, and Academic Exploration Days
Qualifications:
  • This position is open to all undergraduate & graduate students who have classes on the North Haven Campus or are enrolled in Health Science or Nursing program.
  • Possess knowledge of the different areas of the Quinnipiac community and its offerings, with an emphasis on the North Haven campus (including the School of Law, School of Education, Health Sciences & Nursing)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn about programs outside of the studies & participate in student panels

Note: This position requires a significant amount of walking around campus during all weather. If you require accommodations, please contact the Hiring Manager. Before hiring, students will be required to give a mock tour to a senior student ambassador.

Hours of Position:
  • Must be available to work several weekends including 3-4 large-scale events each semester
  • Be available to work 3-5 hours weekly during business hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
